About the position
This entry-level position at FUJIFILM Healthcare Americas Corporation is responsible for the technical repair and final quality inspection of assigned Endoscopic units. The role focuses on meeting monthly repair targets while adhering to safety policies and procedures, ensuring that all repairs meet the manufacturer's specifications.
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs on core G/I (Endoscopic) equipment based on the Incoming Inspector's findings.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
- Assemble and disassemble small highly delicate parts of the endoscope to ensure the unit meets established specifications.
- Perform final quality inspection on completed repairs to ensure compliance with original specifications.
- Troubleshoot potential problems not discovered during the initial inspection.
- Operate required equipment safely, maintaining a clean work area and following established safety rules.
- Report any unsafe acts or conditions to the immediate supervisor.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures and comply with applicable U.S. FDA medical device regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalency is required.
- Electronic and/or Mechanical Certification or degree preferred, but repair experience in electronics, medical device, mechanical, or a similar field will be considered.
- Soldering experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate professionally with co-workers and internal customers.
- Ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Ability to research and analyze various types of information.
- Ability to prioritize work and read, analyze, and interpret essential job-related documents.
- Ability to calculate and match figures and amounts.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in electronics or medical device repair.
- Mechanical repair experience.
