About the position

The Associate Growth Marketing Manager at Wizards of the Coast is responsible for implementing performance marketing initiatives that drive product demand and player engagement. This role requires a blend of creative and technical marketing expertise, focusing on the entire customer journey and leveraging data-driven strategies to foster growth and connection among players.

Responsibilities

  • Partner cross-functionally with teams in Product Marketing, Creative, Business Intelligence, and Product Management to align business and performance marketing strategies.
  • Innovate and build campaigns using multi-channel marketing strategies to drive product demand and acquire and retain players.
  • Develop, build, and launch campaigns from brief to execution, including automation workflows.
  • Segment audiences and implement personalized campaign tactics using data to enhance engagement across various channels.
  • Build paid media strategies across core advertising channels such as search, social, display, and programmatic.
  • Create growth strategies that prioritize small hypotheses, fast experimentation, and rapid iteration.
  • Analyze product campaign and player performance, run hypothesis-based tests, and deliver weekly reports.
  • Monitor performance metrics and use insights to improve and scale marketing channels.

Requirements

  • Ability to attribute program performance back to channel, goal, and product line.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to interpret data for strategic recommendations.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and spoken, comfortable presenting analysis to teams and leadership.
  • Hands-on experience with quantitative media analysis and optimization.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment and convert ambiguity into clear action.
  • Experience working with global brands, preferably in gaming.
  • Passion for games and the business of games.

Nice-to-haves

  • 2+ years of work experience in performance marketing, demand generation, and player acquisition funnel.
  • Experience managing a multi-million-dollar advertising budget.
  • Hands-on experience with lifecycle marketing and paid advertising platforms on both mobile and desktop.
  • 4-year college degree or equivalent experience.
