The Associate Manager will advise management on the status of work in progress and coordinate with various departments including manufacturing, quality assurance, supply chain, engineering, and program management, as well as external customers. Monitoring and reviewing the timely delivery of materials in support of the production build plan is a critical function of this position. The Associate Manager will coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering and Material Management to develop an internal master schedule for assigned programs, releasing work orders to the production floor based on the master schedule, part availability, and current capacity. The role includes monitoring manufacturing conformance to the master schedule using ERP systems and reporting on variances, while also overseeing operational measures such as efficiency, floor inventory accuracy, and on-time delivery. The Associate Manager will advise management on the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production issues, ensuring that all necessary personnel, equipment, materials, and services are provided as needed.
