About the position

The Associate Account Executive plays a crucial role in the Wholesale Team at Curaleaf, focusing on building relationships with dispensary staff and promoting Curaleaf products. This position involves educating dispensary employees, conducting store audits, and gathering field intelligence to enhance product representation and drive sales within the assigned territory. The role requires a self-motivated individual who can adapt to changes and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Build rapport with dispensary influencers to drive business at all levels, customer sizes, and types.
  • Educate store employees on products, services, features, pricing, and upcoming events.
  • Position and merchandise products in a visually appealing manner.
  • Work closely with Account Executives and State Leads, acting as their eyes and ears in the field.
  • Collect store audits and activation data.
  • Submit recaps detailing on-site sales, consumer feedback, competitive intel, etc. to the sales team.
  • Schedule and set up in-store and community appointments and activations.
  • Attend events and trade shows.

Requirements

  • Energetic, outgoing, friendly, and personable, able to connect with customers quickly.
  • Ability to travel 100% of the time.
  • Demonstrated reliability, passion, and dedication as a team player.
  • Self-motivated and self-sufficient, thriving in fast-paced environments.
  • Tech-savvy, able to operate Microsoft Office, computers, spreadsheets, and mobile devices.
  • Open availability and flexibility to work late afternoons, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Some experience as a brand ambassador, sales associate, or territory manager.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous cannabis industry experience.
