About the position

The Associate Account Manager role at EAB is designed for entry-level professionals who are eager to develop their careers in higher education, marketing, or professional services. This position involves working closely with internal teams and partners to implement direct marketing strategies aimed at enhancing student recruitment initiatives. The Associate Account Manager will support one of three specialized teams within EAB, gaining valuable experience in utilizing data-driven insights to create innovative solutions that help higher education partners achieve their enrollment, financial aid optimization, and alumni fundraising goals. This role is ideal for individuals with 0 to 1 year of work experience who are passionate, detail-oriented, and motivated to learn about the business, products, and services offered by EAB while assisting various departments with a range of tasks and projects. In this position, the Associate Account Manager will acquire knowledge about EAB's business model, partners, and the services provided. Responsibilities include assisting account managers, preparing for partner meetings, attending calls, documenting notes, drafting communications, and supporting the internal creative review process for partner campaigns. The role also involves executing administrative tasks to support partner marketing campaigns, coordinating meetings, and maintaining partner and account information in internal systems. The Associate Account Manager will be expected to provide coverage for Account Managers when they are out of the office and perform other duties as assigned. Responsibilities

  • Acquire knowledge of the business and our partners, products and services
  • Assist account managers and perform tasks to support teams
  • Help prepare for partner meetings
  • Attend partner calls and document notes in partner relationship management system
  • Help draft and send written partner communications
  • Assist with internal creative review of partner campaigns and campaign deployment
  • Provide coverage for Account Manager when out of the office
  • Own and execute administrative tasks daily in support of partner marketing campaigns; coordinate and schedule meetings
  • Perform partner and account maintenance in internal systems
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 0-1+ years of work experience
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Organization skills with a proven ability to meet conflicting deadlines
  • Passion to serve partners and learn/grow/develop within Partner Success
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Nice-to-haves

  • Concentration in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Business Administration, or related field
  • 1-2+ years of work experience
