About the position

Teva Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Long Term Care Associate Account Manager to represent our existing Psychiatry products as part of the brand strategy within Long Term Care (LTC) Accounts in Austin, TX. This role is crucial for collaborating with Teva's local sales teams to implement and pull-through product access strategies specific to our commercial activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategically selling to key LTC stakeholders, including nursing home staff, closed door pharmacies, consultant pharmacists, physicians, and mid-level practitioners, while ensuring compliance and ethical standards are upheld. The Associate Account Manager will be expected to identify, develop, and maintain relationships with strategically important decision-makers in the assigned geography. This includes demonstrating business acumen through analysis to identify, create, and quantify business opportunities, as well as attending relevant Society meetings where key decision-makers will be present. A working knowledge of the long-term care industry and established relationships within it are essential for success in this role. Monitoring account performance to ensure compliance with sales goals and creating access opportunities to drive sales in LTC settings are key responsibilities. The selected candidate must live within the designated territory, which spans from Fort Worth to Austin, College Station, and Killeen. This position requires a results-oriented mindset, self-assurance, and an engaging manner to effectively analyze trends and apply knowledge in customer interactions, ultimately delivering value and achieving business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with strategically important decision makers in the assigned geography.
  • Demonstrate business acumen through analysis to identify, create, and quantify business opportunities.
  • Attend all relevant Society meetings where key decision makers will be in attendance.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the long term care industry and established relationships within it.
  • Monitor account performance to ensure compliance with the goal of driving incremental psychiatry product sales.
  • Create access opportunities to drive sales in LTC settings of care.
  • Proactively engage collaboratively with field representatives and sales leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 4 years of pharmaceutical, healthcare, or pharmaceutical sales experience
  • Experience in Long Term Care or related field preferred
  • Record of successfully achieving sales goals and building effective customer relationships.
