About the position

The Associate Account Manager for Multi Vertical Sales in the Southwest Territory at LG Electronics is responsible for developing and supporting wholesale distribution targets in the region. This entry-level position focuses on building key relationships with distributor personnel, contractors, and local industry associations, while collaborating with the Distribution Manager and distributor partners on sales, marketing, and training initiatives. The role involves participating in industry events and executing strategies to optimize sales and customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the identification, recruitment and continued development of the LG Pro Dealer program.
  • Utilize presentation skills to facilitate training for contractors, distributors, and various trade personnel.
  • Support the sales plan in the assigned territory through execution of KPIs related to contractor development, distributor support and sales.
  • Create sales plans to plan for overall revenue and unit targets, as well as individual product category targets.
  • Participate in the design and execution of the go-to-market strategy with regular tracking and reporting.
  • Provide regular observation of pipeline trends with corrective actions and reporting.
  • Support product forecast accuracy and align with Product Management.
  • Manage channel and LG inventory levels for optimization.
  • Liaise with internal groups to optimize marketing dollars and activities for maximum brand exposure and growth.
  • Manage administrative tasks with support from the Inside Sales team.
  • Leverage business and technical acumen to understand the customer's business for each assigned account.
  • Cultivate large commercial initiatives of both complex and strategic importance.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on strategy, planning, and execution to grow LG's business.
  • Develop a strong strategic grasp of the market to provide actionable competitor intelligence.
  • Provide exceptional customer relationships by educating customers on LG products and monitoring performance for sales optimization.
  • Represent LG at industry events to build brand reputation and deepen relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree +1 years of sales experience (or equivalent experience) with a proven track record of results.
  • Experience leading and managing manufacturer rep. firms and distributor territory managers.
  • Proficient at time management and managing a multi-state territory.
  • Familiarity with the HVAC industry, preferably with experience in residential/light commercial Inverter Heat Pump units, wholesale channels, and dealer networks.
  • Strong relationship building, outstanding communication skills, solid business acumen, and thought leadership in sales, marketing, operations, finance, and account P&L.
  • Ability to utilize interpersonal and communication skills effectively with a diverse background of people.
  • Intermediate proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office products.
  • Willingness to travel up to 60-70% of the time.
  • Public-speaking skills to present to internal and external stakeholders.
