About the position

The Associate Account Manager, Small & Medium Business plays a crucial role in enhancing engagement with Vrbo's Vacation Rental Hosts. This position focuses on collaborating with Hosts to boost their productivity and results within the Vrbo marketplace, utilizing data insights and various tools to maximize their success. The role is characterized by high-volume outbound calls and requires strong persuasion skills to drive Host behavior, ultimately aiming to improve both Host success and Traveler experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive the success of Vacation Rental Hosts on the Vrbo platform.
• Consistently exceed performance metrics set by leadership.
• Establish performance goals with partners and develop action plans.
• Secure commitment for the adoption and usage of tools and strategies.
• Optimize content, rates, and availability to maximize booking conversion.
• Manage a large volume of clients through multiple consultations daily.
• Understand key demand/supply indicators and competitive information within the market.
• Pitch additional relevant products to existing customers or prospects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field or equivalent professional work experience.
• 2 to 4 years of sales, client services, or account management experience.
• Knowledge of the vacation rental industry is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with SalesForce or other CRM systems and Tableau or other BI platforms.
• Strong client communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Results-focused and metrics-driven mindset.
• Ability to interpret performance and market data and implement action plans.
