About the position

The Associate Account Manager at Lorenz Fiduciary Services, Inc. is responsible for assisting Trust Account Managers and Trustees with trust and estate administration for multiple client matters. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage various administrative tasks, maintain client records, and provide excellent customer service. Responsibilities

  • Assist Trust Account Managers and Trustees with trust and estate administration.
  • Examine and analyze discrepancies in accounting records and financial statements.
  • Operate accounting software to store and analyze information.
  • Receive cash and checks and guide the deposit process.
  • Resolve issues or discrepancies with vendors.
  • Research and assist with filing claims for pensions and insurance.
  • Assist with applying for medical and state benefits.
  • Complete forms in accordance with company procedures.
  • Contact clients and vendors to obtain or relay account information.
  • Perform general office duties such as typing and operating office machines.
  • Prepare outgoing mail and maintain complete client files.
  • Familiarity with PDF software and editing PDFs.
  • Proactively follow up to resolve client and administrative issues.
  • Receive and place telephone calls with clients and professionals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and vendors.
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments with clients and professionals.

Requirements

  • Experience in a financial services, accounting, or law office setting.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to operate office machines and perform general office duties.
  • Familiarity with PDF software such as Adobe.
  • Required typing speed of 50+ WPM.

  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
