About the position

The Assistant/Associate Account Manager at Allied Landscape plays a crucial role in the Client Services/Sales Department, acting as a liaison between clients and the internal team to ensure high-quality service and communication. This full-time position emphasizes relationship management, project coordination, and client satisfaction within a collaborative and positive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Professionally represent Allied Landscape in all work activities.
  • Help manage and nurture relationships with a portfolio of clients, owning some projects and supporting others.
  • Assist with managing client expectations and providing clients with excellent service and support.
  • Manage client requests, enter tasks and projects into Allied's service system, and provide support to the Landscape Account Manager.
  • Track projects, details, and deadlines.
  • Connect with the client and help translate what is needed to the rest of the team.
  • Follow up on outstanding work orders and ensure tasks are performed in a timely manner.
  • Discover and identify customer landscape growth needs.
  • Regularly and consistently pre-plan account visits with an agenda, service purpose, and selling opportunities.
  • Manage customer issue resolution and seek additional opportunities to support the customer's needs.
  • Participate in sales meetings, on-site training, and supplier events as required.

Requirements

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, lead, and teach in a productive team environment.
  • Ability to work through difficult situations under pressure.
  • Excellent time and project coordination skills.
  • Attention to detail and dedication to ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Strong, clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A valid California Driver's License with an acceptable record.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Office programs.
  • Capable of working independently and in a team environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in project coordination.
  • Previous experience in client services or account management.
