About the position

The Associate Account Manager is responsible for ensuring that the needs of customers and Sales Account Managers are met and understood across various departments within the company. This role involves providing internal support to the sales team, managing customer relationships, and facilitating efficient sales processes to achieve sales goals and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide internal support to the sales team by facilitating internal information and requests.
  • Set up new customers and locations.
  • Ensure efficient sales processes.
  • Manage internal launches with customers.
  • Act as the contact person for any internal logistical issues.
  • Manage all electronic data pertaining to customer websites.
  • Serve as subject matter experts on customers' retail systems.
  • Manage customer price increases and profiles internally.
  • Manage projects to achieve sales goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with Account Manager on customer presentations.
  • Collect and analyze data concerning customer behaviors to understand changing needs.
  • Develop professional business relationships with an assigned customer base.
  • Provide guidance and direction to the sales team in navigating with internal departments.
  • Develop partnerships with customers to maintain existing business and acquire new customers.
  • Build relationships with internal and external customers based on trust and integrity.
  • Provide a superior level of service to existing accounts.
  • Act as the internal contact for customers with questions or problems.
  • Assist Sales Managers with their needs for customers.
  • Ensure all work is completed on time.

Requirements

  • College degree or equivalent work-related experience.
