About the position

As an Associate Account Manager at R&R Insurance, you will play a crucial role in managing multi-line commercial accounts while providing exceptional customer service. This full-time position is designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to learn and apply R&R Insurance systems and processes. You will receive appropriate onboarding and mentorship to ensure you are well-equipped to handle the responsibilities of the role. Your primary focus will be on responding to customers' daily service requests, evaluating and recommending coverages that meet the needs of clients and prospects, and negotiating with markets to secure optimum coverage. Building and maintaining solid relationships with carriers will be essential to your success in this position. In addition to managing client accounts, you will assist with market selection by creating applications and proposals. Your responsibilities will also include reconciling account discrepancies, invoicing, reviewing policies for accuracy, and processing certificates, binders, change requests, claims, audits, and endorsements. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task effectively, ensuring that all client needs are met promptly and accurately. Responsibilities

  • Manage multi-line commercial accounts and respond to customers' daily service requests.
  • Evaluate and recommend coverages to meet the needs of clients and prospects.
  • Negotiate with markets for optimum coverage and maintain solid carrier relations.
  • Assist with market selection by creating applications and proposals.
  • Reconcile account discrepancies and handle invoicing.
  • Review policies for accuracy and process certificates, binders, change requests, claims, audits, and endorsements.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of customer service experience.
  • Experience working within a commercial lines insurance agency is a plus.
  • Strong technology skills including proficiency with Windows-based agency management systems, database functionality, electronic document management systems, and internet navigation.
  • Comfortable speaking to clients and carriers over the phone and in person.
  • Sound organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional customer-focused disposition.
  • High School Diploma or Associate degree desired.
  • Property and Casualty Insurance License is a plus.
