About the position

World Insurance Associates is seeking an Associate Account Manager to support the Account Executive in managing client relationships and ensuring client retention. This role is pivotal in maintaining a high level of service and advocacy for our clients, which includes managing a book of Commercial Lines Property & Casualty Insurance business. The Associate Account Manager will assist in various tasks such as handling renewals, service requests, claims, billing, and new policies, ensuring that all required tasks are completed accurately and on time. The position requires a thorough understanding of the insurance markets, underwriting guidelines, and procedures. The Associate Account Manager will review applications, policies, endorsements, and audits for accuracy, and will also be responsible for completing loss and claim analysis and summaries. Coordination with the department manager to obtain renewal business information is also a key responsibility. This role is designed for someone who is self-motivated, enjoys working independently, and thrives in a team-oriented environment. In addition to the technical skills required, the ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and will be able to actively listen and problem-solve with minimal assistance. The ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain discretion surrounding sensitive information is essential. A professional demeanor and a positive attitude are crucial for success in this role, as is the ability to maintain a sense of urgency and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Account Executive in managing a book of Commercial Lines Property & Casualty Insurance business.
  • Ensure all required tasks are completed accurately and on-time.
  • Grow client loyalty by building positive relationships and providing high levels of advocacy and excellent service.
  • Support in handling renewals, service requests, claims, billing, and new policies.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the markets and their appetites, underwriting guidelines, submitting and procedures.
  • Review all applications, policies, endorsements, and audits for accuracy.
  • Complete loss/claim analysis and summaries.
  • Coordinate expiration list with department manager to obtain renewal business information.

Requirements

  • Two years minimum Commercial Lines Account Management or support experience required.
  • Property & Casualty License required, or agreement to obtain within 3-6 months of employment.
  • Valid driver's license and insurance required.
  • Applied/EPIC or similar agency management software experience preferred.
  • Possess strong administrative and computing skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Able to work independently and enjoy a high degree of interaction with team members.
  • Self-motivated and driven with a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills, including active listening and problem-solving abilities with minimal assistance.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, work independently, and use discretion surrounding sensitive information.
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude.

Nice-to-haves
