About the position

The Associate Account Manager at SiriusXM Media plays a crucial role in supporting the Client Services team by assisting Account Managers in executing advertising campaigns for various advertisers and agencies. This position is designed for individuals who are eager to learn and grow within the audio advertising industry, contributing to the overall revenue generation for SiriusXM Media. The Associate Account Manager will work closely with a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about the SiriusXM Media brands and committed to delivering exceptional service to clients. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of operational tasks that are essential for the smooth execution of advertising campaigns. This includes building media plans, executing insertion orders, and ensuring that creative materials are deployed correctly. You will also assist with research requests and collaborate with core pod teams to support high-touch clients, ensuring that their campaign needs are met effectively. Monitoring campaign performance and ensuring delivery across various ad serving systems will be a key part of your responsibilities, as will collaborating with the billing team to resolve any invoicing queries that may arise. The Associate Account Manager will also provide ad-hoc support related to accounts and may delegate tasks to internal resources as necessary. Responsibilities

  • Partner with Account Managers to execute a myriad of operational tasks including building media plans and executing insertion orders.
  • Ensure creative is deployed properly and assist with research requests.
  • Align with core pod teams to support high-touch clients and their campaign needs.
  • Learn the ins and outs of advertising from a collaborative and passionate team.
  • Assist in monitoring campaigns and ensure campaign delivery across various ad serving systems.
  • Collaborate with billing team to resolve monthly invoicing queries (as assigned).
  • Provide other ad-hoc account-related support.
  • Delegate work as necessary to internal resources.

Requirements

  • Experience in digital/radio/mobile planning, buying, or account/project management.
  • Previous customer service-oriented role is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to be self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Previous experience with Google Drive and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel & PowerPoint is a plus.
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
