About the position

As the Associate Account Manager at LG Business Solutions, you will play a crucial role in driving new business development within the hospitality sector. This position is designed for individuals who are self-motivated and capable of independently managing relationships with both new and existing customers. Your primary responsibility will be to sell LG's innovative B2B products to a diverse range of clients, including small management companies and national accounts. You will be tasked with providing pricing, reporting, and marketing support to enhance market penetration in the hospitality industry. In this role, you will be expected to travel frequently to attend industry events and customer meetings, which will help strengthen relationships with clients and increase communication lines. Your efforts will directly contribute to generating sales revenue and improving customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for scheduling visits to your assigned accounts, generating lead lists, and closing sales. This will involve cold calling potential clients, managing product demonstrations, and overseeing project roll-outs and integrations. You will also collaborate with various departments, including Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, to set up new accounts and manage payments and invoices. Your performance will be measured against individual and team sales KPIs, ensuring that you remain focused on achieving your targets. Additionally, you will maintain customer price sheets, update project pipelines, and assist in managing logistics for marketing events and sponsorships. Responsibilities

  • Schedule visits to owned account list and close sales.
  • Generate lead lists and directly sell to them, including show/event leads and smaller accounts assigned by the BDM team.
  • Cold call to qualify leads for the hotel industry as needed.
  • Work with AR and AP departments to set up new accounts and manage payments and invoices.
  • Meet sales KPIs based on individual contribution and team targets.
  • Travel to larger sales opportunities to meet decision makers, conduct product demonstrations, and close sales.
  • Schedule and take customers on BIC and lab tours.
  • Manage lead lists pre and post-trade shows and track engagement.
  • Manage and track product samples for customers, demos, and events.
  • Collaborate with marketing and events contacts to manage logistics and execute marketing fund and sponsorship assets with hotel accounts.
  • Update project pipelines and production forecasts via Salesforce CRM.
  • Maintain customer price sheets and ensure timely quarterly communications with accounts.
  • Work with the Credit Team to establish lines of credit and prevent overdue holds on accounts.
  • Maintain a folder of relevant account documents such as presentations and marketing materials.
  • Add owned opportunities in Salesforce to pursue independently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree is required; MBA is desired.
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience (or equivalent) with a proven track record of results is required.
  • Prior experience in the Display & Signage industry preferred but not required.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and ability to drive new product introductions.
  • Outstanding communication skills.

  • Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM is beneficial.
