About the position

The Associate Account Manager at MedscapeLIVE! is responsible for supporting the Program Management and Account Management teams in delivering high-quality services to clients. This role involves managing client relationships, ensuring the successful execution of events, and collaborating with various teams to meet project deadlines and expectations. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while being open to learning and development.

Responsibilities

  • Thorough development, QC, and submission of all program assets through the MLR process.
  • Assist with client management through focused attention to detail, accountability, concise communications, and a sense of urgency.
  • Manage internal team deliverables, timelines, and clearly defined next steps.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams, meeting client and management expectations, and ensuring programs remain on target and within agreed-upon parameters.
  • Schedule and join client meetings, lead internal meetings as needed, and assist with client communications.
  • Use project management software to track projects and provide frequent status updates.
  • Assist with problem solving issues as they arise.
  • Overall ownership of client program success and execution.
  • Onsite presence as needed for in-studio broadcasts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 1-2 years in Project Management or Account Services, preferably within the healthcare or medical education environment.
  • Experience in an external client-facing environment.
  • Highly professional, ability to work independently, and foster collaborative work relationships.
  • Outstanding time management, organizational skills, and an eye for details.
  • Excellent verbal communication, writing, and grammar skills.
  • Ability to work extended hours to meet clients' business needs, if needed.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Medical Legal Regulatory (MLR) preferred.
  • Prior working experience in Workfront is a plus.
