About the position

Arista Networks is seeking a Sales Associate Account Manager to join our dynamic Sales organization in Cleveland, OH. As a key member of the Arista Sales team, you will serve as the face of Arista to our customers, acting as their internal champion for the challenges they face. Your role will involve aligning Arista's technical resources to achieve the desired business outcomes for our clients. You will collaborate closely with some of the most skilled Customer Engineers in the industry, as well as our Professional Services and Executive teams, to ensure that our customers receive the best possible support and solutions. In this position, you will be responsible for various internal sales support functions, including new sales pipeline development, lead generation, field marketing activities, and sales operations support for Field Account Managers in the region. This role is particularly suited for individuals who are passionate about technology and have a strong technical acumen, especially in data center networking solutions. You will conduct lead generation calls with key customer influencers, present the Arista value proposition, and generate new meetings for Field Account Managers. Additionally, you will assist in planning and coordinating quarterly field marketing events, track attendance metrics, and provide sales operations support, including sales quote assistance and order submissions. Responsibilities

  • Conduct lead generation calls with key customer influencers to present the Arista value proposition and generate new meetings for Field Account Managers.
  • Generate new opportunities for Arista's Software-Driven Data Center and Campus switching platforms, as well as Cloud-based Wireless WIFI solutions, DANZ Fabric Monitoring, and Zero Trust security products.
  • Drive new attendees to marketing events and assist with the planning and coordination of quarterly field marketing events, tracking attendance metrics.
  • Provide sales operations support for Field Account Managers, including sales quote assistance, order submissions, and assistance with billing issues.
  • Attend sales training and shadow Senior Account Managers to progress towards a Field Territory Account Manager position.
  • Stay up-to-date with technology partner solutions, competing solutions, and competitor strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA/BBA) or equivalent education.
  • 2-3 years of technology sales experience, preferably in roles or internships in Sales, Marketing, Sales Operations, or as a Sales Associate.
  • Excellent people skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • A passion for technology and strong technical acumen in areas such as Cloud, Networking, Virtualization, Network Security, Compute, SaaS/IaaS, Wireless (Wifi), and Network Monitoring.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
