About the position

The Associate Account Manager at Leanin' Tree is responsible for re-establishing and maintaining relationships with existing business accounts through outbound sales calls. This role focuses on selling Leanin' Tree products, servicing customer accounts, and achieving monthly sales goals while adhering to company policies and best practices. The position requires effective communication and organizational skills to manage customer interactions and sales processes efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Call existing Leanin' Tree customers to re-establish the relationship and sell products.
• Make a minimum of 85 outbound calls per day to achieve monthly sales goals.
• Quickly and accurately complete inbound calls by servicing, selling, or redirecting the call.
• Master a 6-step sales process and implement Leanin' Tree's sales best practices.
• Process all orders and resolve customer issues ethically.
• Build new account opportunities by asking for referrals.
• Maintain an account management system, updating accounts and establishing call cycles.
• Adhere to sales policies, procedures, and ethical selling practices.
• Obtain complete and current credit references on all accounts.
• Assist other sales representatives in picking orders.
• Communicate professionally with customers and other departments.
• Participate in department teams and develop sales skills.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• 1 year of sales experience, preferably in business to business (B2B).
• Telephone sales experience, preferably in B2B.
• Basic math skills.
• Sales skills and knowledge.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Data entry, computer, and 10-key skills.
