About the position

The Associate Account Manager at R&R Insurance is a full-time role focused on managing multi-line commercial accounts. This position involves responding to customer service requests, evaluating coverage needs, negotiating with insurance markets, and maintaining strong relationships with carriers. The role is designed for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy problem-solving while working collaboratively with a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage multi-line commercial accounts and respond to daily service requests from customers.
• Evaluate and recommend insurance coverages to meet client needs.
• Negotiate with insurance markets for optimal coverage solutions.
• Assist with market selection by creating applications and proposals.
• Reconcile account discrepancies and handle invoicing.
• Review policies for accuracy and process certificates, binders, change requests, claims, audits, and endorsements.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of customer service experience.
• Experience in a commercial lines insurance agency is a plus.
• Strong technology skills, including proficiency with Windows-based agency management systems and electronic document management systems.
• Comfortable speaking to clients and carriers over the phone and in person.
• Sound organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional customer-focused disposition.
• High School Diploma or Associate degree desired.
• Property and Casualty Insurance License is a plus.
