About the position

The Sales Associate Account Manager at Arista Networks is a pivotal role within the Sales organization, primarily responsible for supporting the sales team in lead generation, sales operations, and marketing activities. This position is ideal for new graduates or individuals looking to advance their careers in technology sales, particularly in data center networking solutions. The role emphasizes collaboration with senior sales professionals and technical teams to drive customer engagement and business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct lead generation calls with key customer influencers to present Arista's value proposition.
  • Generate new opportunities for Arista's Software-Driven Data Center and Campus switching platforms, Cloud-based Wireless WIFI solutions, DANZ Fabric Monitoring, and Zero Trust security products.
  • Drive new attendees to marketing events and assist with the planning and coordination of quarterly field marketing events.
  • Provide sales operations support for Field Account Managers, including sales quote assistance, order submissions, and assistance with billing issues.
  • Attend sales training and shadow Senior Account Managers for career progression to a Field Territory Account Manager position.
  • Keep up-to-date with technology partner solutions, competing solutions, and competitor strategies.

Requirements

  • BS/BA/BBA degree or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years of technology sales experience.
  • Previous experience in roles or internships in Sales, Marketing, Sales Operations, or as a Sales Associate.
  • Excellent people skills and ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Strong technical acumen in areas such as Cloud, Networking, Virtualization, Network Security, Compute, SaaS/IaaS, Wireless (Wifi), and Network Monitoring.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
