About the position

The Associate Wholesale Account Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Sr. Account Manager by executing various sales functions that are essential for the success of the department store account. This position is centered around a 4-P strategy, which includes Product, Price, Place, and Promotion. The Associate Account Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with both internal cross-functional partners and external partners. This collaboration is vital for strategizing actions that drive sales and profitability, as well as identifying future growth tactics for the Levi's brand. In this role, the Associate Account Manager will assist the Sr. Account Manager in executing the sales function effectively. This includes managing samples to support customer commercial and advertising needs, ensuring that all size scales and other relevant information are accurately managed in SAP to facilitate timely deliveries and mitigate chargebacks. The position also involves managing account responsibilities, which encompass assortment planning and order processing for an assigned account base. The Associate Account Manager will be expected to provide in-depth analytics and planning to drive optimal growth within the account base. This includes generating accurate forecasts by month to meet annual shipping targets and resolving any customer order issues in collaboration with both customers and company partners. The role requires a strong detail orientation, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities to navigate the complexities of the retail and wholesale apparel business effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Sr. Account Manager with executing sales functions
  • Ensure effective management of samples to support customer commercial and advertising needs
  • Manage all size scales and other information in SAP for timely deliveries and to mitigate chargebacks
  • Handle account responsibilities including assortment planning and order processing for assigned accounts
  • Develop strong relationships with all internal and external partners
  • Provide in-depth analytics and planning to drive optimal growth in account base
  • Generate accurate forecasts by month to achieve annual shipping targets
  • Resolve customer order issues in collaboration with customers and company partners

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (5+ years combined college education and work experience may be substituted for a degree)
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a retail/wholesale apparel business or other consumer packaged goods industry, including experience in a support role related to sales, merchandising, or retail function
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications, with expert level experience in Excel
  • Strong detail orientation, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal and external partners at all levels
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
