About the position

The Associate Accountant will play a vital role in the General Accounting team, directly reporting to the General Accounting Manager. This position focuses on supporting the development and implementation of accounting practices in line with GAAP and corporate policies, while also fostering collaborative relationships across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Support the development, interpretation, and implementation of accounting practices in accordance with GAAP and corporate policies.
• Assist in the period-close process, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct analysis and reporting related to financial data.
• Identify and implement process improvements within the accounting function.
• Provide audit support and assist with other accounting-related tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 0 to 4 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of general ledger and GAAP practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive work ethic.
• Strong collaborative and communication skills.
• Experience with Infor Baan and/or LN is a plus.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
