About the position

The Associate Accounting Administrator at Tyson Foods is responsible for managing daily inventory tasks, including entering issue sheets into the STORES system, receiving shipments, and conducting inventory audits. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently while ensuring accurate record-keeping and communication with vendors and team members.

Responsibilities

• Enter daily issue sheets into the STORES system and make inventory adjustments as needed.
• Check in and receive daily shipments from FedEx, UPS, and various vendors.
• Lift up to 40lbs and navigate stairs as required.
• Work with COUPA catalogs for ordering and receiving.
• Run reports in STORES, MRS, and SAP for budgets and fill in budget sheets in Excel.
• Send out transfers or repairs with inbound logistics or FedEx account.
• Backup for ordering chemicals and issuing weekly.
• Work on discrepancy reports and enter CIR's as directed.
• Create forklift cards for authorized team members and answer phone calls.
• Set up part numbers and new vendors in STORES/SAP.
• File paperwork daily and complete full inventory audits monthly.
• Create bins for new items and ensure proper labeling.
• Fill personal issues for supervisors twice a week and enter into STORES.
• Distribute new equipment to new hires as needed and update weekly personal issue tracking.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of office experience required.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a good attendance and safety record.
• Ability to work with little supervision.

Nice-to-haves

• Forklift experience (training provided).
• Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Chrome, and Outlook.
