About the position

The Advisory Technology Associate at Wealthspire Advisors is responsible for supporting and executing technology initiatives across the firm's advisory technology stack. This role involves collaboration with various teams to ensure the effective implementation of technology projects critical to wealth management, including CRM, performance reporting, trading, and financial planning platforms. The Associate will provide technical support and act as a liaison between internal teams and IT counterparts, ensuring seamless execution of technology-related tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Execute administrative functions in relevant systems/software, including license provisioning, onboarding and offboarding of staff, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and other departments to ensure the successful execution of technology projects.
  • Aid in communication efforts providing updates on issue reports and upcoming technology initiatives to Wealthspire staff.
  • Support IT project plans, track progress and manage open items to ensure timely completion.
  • Act as a resource for O365, SharePoint, and other Microsoft suite-related requests and troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate with NFP IT counterparts on tasks, requests, and projects driven or owned by NFP to ensure seamless deployment for Wealthspire.
  • Serve as a liaison to IT for technical updates and ongoing maintenance requirements.
  • Ensure competent coverage and backup for time-sensitive activities and mission-critical tasks.
  • Provide support to the Head of Advisory Technology on various projects and related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in a related technology or financial service role.
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks with varying priorities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical issues and solutions clearly.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and efficiently with cross-functional teams and departments.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems, such as Salesforce.
  • Proficiency in Document Management Systems, such as SharePoint.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
