About the position

The Associate Analyst - Fraud Support position at Ally involves handling incoming calls to assess various situations and identify risks related to fraud against Ally Bank. The role requires conducting research, executing various methods, and providing clear documentation of findings. It operates in a call center environment with a focus on managing a high volume of calls while performing detailed fraud reviews.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls from internal Ally associates and external customers.
• Perform reviews utilizing various tools and reports to identify potential fraudulent activities on Ally Bank Deposit accounts.
• Utilize core systems to compare customer information to identify fraud activity.
• Research incidents and allegations, interacting with other departments such as Risk, Compliance, and Legal.
• Execute countermeasures and mitigation strategies to avoid losses to the bank and customers.
• Ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and procedures for the bank.
• Provide excellent customer service to customers impacted by potential fraud.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in retail branch banking highly preferred.
• Knowledge of fraudulent banking transactions strongly recommended.
• Experience in Customer Service/Call Center environment preferred.
• Experience with Salesforce, WebCSR, FraudNet, Compass, and/or LexisNexis.
