About the position

The Fitch Ratings 2025 Associate Analyst Program is an exceptional entry-level opportunity for recent graduates, designed to provide a comprehensive training experience in credit ratings and analysis. This full-time graduate program combines structured training with on-the-job learning, immersing Associate Analysts in the credit rating process within a specific product group. Over the course of 12 months, participants will collaborate with senior analysts, evaluate risks, participate in rating committees, and draft research reports, all while developing a high level of service to investors and issuers.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate risk and participate in rating committees.
  • Draft rating affirmations and write research reports.
  • Collaborate with senior analysts on new issuer ratings.
  • Gather and analyze industry, regulatory, and economic information.

Requirements

  • Recent graduates eligible from December 2024 to June 2025 with less than 12 months of relevant full-time experience.
  • Ability to work in New York with a hybrid office schedule.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a keen interest in credit, fixed income, and industry analysis.

Nice-to-haves

  • Majors in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Accounting, and/or Political Science are a plus.
  • Diverse academic backgrounds with a passion for finance, research, and analysis.

Benefits

  • Base pay of $75,000 per year, with potential for commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, and long-term incentives.
