About the position

Aeroseal is seeking an Associate Application Engineer to support the adoption of Aeroseal and Envelope technologies in the residential new construction market. This role involves developing expertise in the company's solutions, providing technical support, and facilitating educational presentations to various stakeholders in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

  • Create and evaluate residential building energy models using REMRate & Ekotrope, providing recommendations for energy measures paired with Envelope & AeroSeal applications.
  • Travel to RNC jobsites to learn, educate, and fine-tune applications while providing recommendations to innovation and sustaining engineering.
  • Provide technical support to installers on Envelope processes and building science questions as needed.
  • Assist the Lead Application Engineer in improving technical training materials based on field feedback from dealers.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to develop, promote, and train partners and customers on best practices for Aeroseal and Envelope applications.
  • Facilitate educational presentations for builders, architects, code officials, utility providers, and government agencies.
  • Assist with solution demos for architects, builders, and utility providers.
  • Inform Marketing of technical and value proposition details to support marketing messaging.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction management or building science-related industry.
  • Experience in residential building energy modeling; certifications such as REMRate or Ekotrope are preferred.
  • Knowledge of IECC, Energy Star, LEED, WELL Standard, and/or Passive House is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Public speaking/presentation experience is beneficial.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
