The role of an Associate Application Engineer is to provide Pre & Post Sales technical support for the development and implementation of complex products/applications/solutions. This position is hybrid based in Charlotte, NC. In this role, you will primarily provide pre-sales technical support, utilizing your in-depth product knowledge to assist sales staff and customers through presentations and product demonstrations. You will work closely with outside sales, internal colleagues, distributors, and consulting engineers to understand consulting requests and classify needs based on technical involvement and urgency. Your responsibilities will include researching and gathering data to meet customer needs, developing viable solutions, and ensuring that the proposed solutions are communicated effectively to all stakeholders. Post-sales, you will provide technical expertise during the installation, implementation, and maintenance of company products, ensuring that client needs are met and that products function according to specifications. You will also be involved in troubleshooting, performance evaluation, and proposing corrective measures to ensure customer satisfaction. Participation in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities is also a key aspect of this role, allowing you to contribute to the community while working on innovative water solutions.
