About the position

The Associate Applications Engineer will assist in the design, development, and testing of UV-curable nanocomposite products at Pixelligent. This role involves collaboration with the product development team to support customer projects and innovate formulations for opto-electronic applications, such as nanoimprint and inkjet technologies.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory tasks in formulations development under the guidance of Senior Manager or Director.
• Collect data for the internal product development team using database software and process data as needed.
• Contribute to writing product application notes for customers.
• Assist in collaborative discussions as needed.
• Document and communicate technical information to Senior Manager/project lead.
• Engage in laboratory activities for 70 to 90% of the time, allowing for non-laboratory activities such as data management and analysis.

Requirements

• BS degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Engineering or related field with 0-1 years of experience.
• Basic understanding of formulation development and/or materials characterization.
• Demonstrated ability to problem-solve using analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
