About the position

We are seeking an expert Asset Manager to lead all aspects of inventory control, cycle counting, asset tracking, shipping, and receiving processes at our manufacturing factory (100% On-site). This role is pivotal in handling inventory, tracking assets, and ensuring efficient shipping and receiving operations. The Asset Manager will develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory accuracy, conduct regular cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate inventory records. Collaboration with procurement and production teams is essential to ensure accurate intake of parts for production needs. In addition to inventory control, the Asset Manager will establish and maintain a robust asset tracking system to supervise the location, condition, and lifecycle of company assets. This includes conducting routine inspections and maintenance of equipment and assets, coordinating repairs and replacements as needed. The role also involves managing the shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely and accurate handling of goods and materials, and monitoring receiving procedures to inspect incoming/outgoing shipments and resolve discrepancies. The Asset Manager will generate reports on inventory levels, asset condition, shipping, and receiving activities, analyzing data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement. Continuous improvement of inventory management, asset tracking, shipping, and receiving processes is crucial to enhance efficiency and accuracy. The Asset Manager will implement best practices and standard operating procedures for these functions, collaborating with various teams to ensure flawless operations. Compliance with regulatory requirements related to inventory control, asset management, and shipping/receiving is a key responsibility, along with maintaining detailed records of asset creation, disposals, and transfers.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Proven experience in inventory control, cycle counting, asset tracking, shipping, and receiving.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software and asset tracking systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
