About the position

The Associate Athletic Director for Major Gifts is responsible for identifying, qualifying, cultivating, and soliciting major gifts to support the fundraising goals of the athletic department at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. This role focuses on raising significant contributions of $50,000 or more from individuals and corporations, enhancing donor engagement, and collaborating with staff, coaches, and administration to achieve the athletic department's priorities.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify potential major gift donors.
• Cultivate and solicit gifts of $50k+ from individuals and companies.
• Develop and execute prospect strategies to increase donor engagement.
• Collaborate with staff, coaches, and administration to support fundraising efforts.
• Manage relationships with donors to ensure ongoing engagement and support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• Demonstrated ability to cultivate, solicit, and close gifts.
• Knowledge of Paciolan and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to organize time and work efficiently.
• Strong collaboration skills.
