About the position

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate the Student-Athlete Academic Services (SAAS) unit.
  • Plan, develop, and implement a comprehensive academic service program for student-athletes.
  • Ensure consistent processes and procedures for student-athlete advising and academic success plans.
  • Communicate high-risk scenarios that may impact NCAA eligibility.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the SAAS unit with internal and external constituents.
  • Provide comprehensive academic advising to assist student-athletes in meeting their academic goals.

Requirements

  • Experience in academic advising or related field in higher education.
  • Strong understanding of NCAA regulations and student-athlete academic support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups and individuals.
