The Associate Athletics Director for Marketing & External Operations at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) plays a pivotal role in enhancing the visibility and reputation of the Center for Intercollegiate Athletics. This position is integral to promoting a student-centered athletic experience that emphasizes academic and athletic excellence within a framework of integrity and respect. The Associate Athletics Director will work closely with the Executive Director of the Center for Intercollegiate Athletics to develop and implement strategies that drive revenue, increase attendance, and enhance the overall experience for student-athletes and fans alike. The incumbent will be responsible for managing the Corporate Partnership Program, coordinating special athletic events, and executing comprehensive marketing campaigns for all home athletic events. This includes overseeing the development of promotional materials, managing community marketing plans, and collaborating with various internal and external partners to boost engagement and attendance at athletic events. The Associate Athletics Director will also serve as a liaison to the RIT Sports Network, ensuring that digital content is effectively executed for all web streams and events. In addition to these responsibilities, the Associate Athletics Director will lead initiatives aimed at fostering relationships with alumni and enhancing campus outreach to increase student engagement in athletic events. The role requires a commitment to ethical conduct and compliance with NCAA regulations, as well as a dedication to promoting diversity and inclusion within the athletic department.
