Responsibilities

• Represent plaintiffs in individual and class action employment discrimination matters.
• Conduct factual and legal research.
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
• Participate in discovery and provide legal advice to clients.
• Assist in depositions, mediations, arbitrations, trials, and court hearings.
• Attend industry, networking, and community outreach events.
• Supervise legal assistants on cases.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in complex litigation and employment litigation.
• Member in good standing of the State Bar of California or expect to be admitted soon.
• Familiarity with employment law, specifically California law, is preferred.
• Experience with Title VII, Title IX, and/or complex civil litigation is ideal.

Nice-to-haves

• Clerkship experience.
• Demonstrated interest in civil rights litigation.
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese.
