As an Associate Attorney, you will play a crucial role in providing legal support to clients, working on a wide range of cases and gaining valuable experience in various areas of law and litigation. Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research using various resources such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
- Write legal documents, including briefs, contracts, and pleadings
- Assist with legal administrative tasks such as filing, organizing documents, and managing case files
- Participate in negotiations on behalf of clients
- Represent clients in court and litigate cases as necessary
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies
- Attend client meetings and provide legal advice and guidance
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the Indiana bar
- Strong research and writing skills
- Experience with legal drafting and document preparation
- Knowledge of legal administrative procedures and practices
- Proficiency in using legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
