Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to discuss their estate planning and real estate needs.
• Manage and prioritize caseload.
• Work with team members in assisting with their clients and projects.
• Provide exceptional customer service and develop strong client relationships.
• Prepare, edit, and proofread estate planning documents, trusts, real estate documents, and business documents.

Requirements

• License to practice law in Massachusetts (license to practice law in Connecticut a plus).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
• Experience in drafting estate planning documents; previous experience in an estate planning firm is a plus.
• Experience in drafting residential real estate documents; previous experience in a real estate firm is a plus.
• Experience handling formation and maintenance of corporations, LLCs, and partnerships; experience working for a business attorney is a plus.
• Strong computer skills and excellent math and language skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in estate planning and real estate law (1 year preferred).
• Ability to think and communicate with numbers, diagrams, and spreadsheets.
• Capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing high-volume workload effectively.
• Willing to learn unique fields of law.
