Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including contracts and pleadings.
• Represent clients in family court matters.
• Assist in litigation processes by preparing briefs, motions, and other court documents.
• Utilize Lexis-Nexis for legal research and case law analysis.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases and provide legal insights during strategy meetings.
• Maintain accurate records of case files and manage administrative tasks related to legal proceedings.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the NJ bar.
• Strong research skills with proficiency in legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis.
• Excellent legal drafting abilities with attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective client interaction and negotiation.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Prior experience in a law firm setting or relevant internships is a plus.
