About the position
The Associate Attorney position at Bauman Loewe Witt & Maxwell, PLLC involves handling litigation related to product defects, construction defects, premises liability, insurance, and general tort. The role requires excellent writing and legal analysis skills, as well as the ability to take and defend depositions. Some trial experience is preferred. Responsibilities
- Communicate with senior associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently
- Attend court hearings or other legal proceedings
- Perform legal research and work with senior associate attorneys to provide legal advice
- Organize and maintain files to ensure accuracy for other attorneys, paralegals, and staff
Requirements
- Must be licensed to practice in AZ; additional consideration for those licensed in other western states including CA, WA, NM, UT, OR, CO, or NV
- Experienced Attorney with 3-5 years of experience
- Excellent writing and legal analysis skills
- Ability to defend depositions, including expert depositions; some trial experience is a plus (preparation, second chair, or lead)
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills
