About the position

Join our law firm as a Personal Injury Attorney and play a crucial role in our mission to be the voice and lifeline to the injured and exploited. We are experiencing significant growth and are looking for dedicated individuals who want to be part of something big. This position is open to candidates with both limited and extensive experience, including new attorneys who are willing to learn and experienced attorneys who can be trained for litigation.

Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day handling of a full caseload with pre-suit and litigation files
• Manage and provide training as needed to support staff
• Drafting and filing of litigation documents including pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions, and memoranda
• Outstanding negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
• Screen potential clients
• Investigating claims and gathering evidence
• Documenting injuries and expenses
• Calculating damages
• Interviewing witnesses
• Reviewing medical documents
• Representing clients through trial
• Counseling clients throughout the entire claims process
• Attending and preparing for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.

Requirements

• Florida Bar License is required
