About the position

RBS Law is seeking an Associate Attorney for its Estate Planning and Probate Law Firm in Arvada, Colorado. The firm is dedicated to providing exceptional legal services with empathy towards clients while fostering a positive work culture that values integrity, transparency, innovation, and professional growth. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong communication skills, and have a commitment to client service, all while being comfortable with modern technology.

Responsibilities

  • Advise clients on estate planning techniques and draft estate plan documents.
  • Participate in the client process from start to finish.
  • Perform legal research and assist clients with probate and trust administration with the support of a paralegal.
  • Nurture meaningful client relations through communication and meetings.
  • Work within modern law firm systems and software.

Requirements

  • Completion of a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in Colorado.
  • Detail-oriented with experience drafting legal documents.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially in stressful situations.
  • Demonstrated people skills and comfort with direct client communication.
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new software programs.
  • Successful at working in a collaborative team environment.
  • Hardworking self-starter who takes initiative in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Estate planning, probate and/or trust administration experience preferred.
  • Good sense of humor and positive attitude.
  • Ready to grow professionally and personally.
