About the position

The position involves delivering exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects by identifying their needs and providing tailored financial solutions. The role requires collaboration within the branch and with BMO partners to enhance customer experience and achieve business objectives. As a lobby leader, the individual will guide customers, recommend banking services, and support operational activities while ensuring compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to customers and prospects.
• Identify customer needs and provide advice on financial solutions.
• Collaborate with BMO partners to enhance customer relationships.
• Guide customers in the branch lobby and offer advice on digital banking options.
• Conduct client conversations about banking services and recommend alternative channels.
• Meet customer transaction needs with seamless execution.
• Engage customers in needs-based conversations to identify opportunities.
• Support operational activities such as inventory management and service requests.
• Integrate marketing promotions into customer conversations for strategic advice.
• Contribute to branch business results and customer experience.
• Maintain current knowledge of personal banking products and trends.
• Identify and report suspicious activity related to money laundering.
• Comply with legal and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• 1 - 2 years of relevant experience or certification in a related field.
• Registration to sell investment products (Canada only) must be completed within 12 months.
• Experience in consultative customer service or sales roles.
• Confident in using social media, tablets, smartphones, and online tools.
• Basic knowledge of specialized sales and business banking solutions.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with customers.
• Aptitude for listening, problem-solving, and responding creatively to challenges.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good organizational and collaboration skills.
