About the position

The position involves delivering exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects by identifying their needs and providing tailored financial solutions. The role requires collaboration with branch partners to enhance customer experience and achieve business objectives, while also guiding customers through available banking services and digital options. As a lobby leader, the individual will engage in client conversations, recommend banking channels, and support operational activities to ensure a seamless banking experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to customers and prospects.
• Identify customer needs and provide advice on financial solutions.
• Collaborate with branch partners to enhance customer experience.
• Guide customers on available digital and self-serve options.
• Conduct client conversations about banking services and recommend alternatives.
• Meet customer transaction needs with seamless execution.
• Review customer profiles and engage in needs-based conversations.
• Support operational activities such as inventory management and service requests.
• Integrate marketing promotions into customer conversations.
• Contribute to branch business results and customer experience.
• Follow through on risk and compliance processes to safeguard customer assets.
• Maintain current knowledge of personal banking products and trends.
• Identify and report suspicious activity related to money laundering.

Requirements

• 1 - 2 years of relevant experience or certification in a related field.
• Registration to sell investment products completed or in progress (Canada only).
• Experience in consultative customer service or sales roles.
• Basic knowledge of specialized sales and business banking solutions.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with customers.
• Aptitude for listening, problem-solving, and responding creatively to challenges.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good organizational, collaboration, and analytical skills.
