About the position

The Associate Benefits Analyst at CoBank is responsible for administering and communicating the bank's benefit programs, providing day-to-day support for various benefits plans, and interacting with employees to guide them through their options and requirements. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of benefits information and supports wellness initiatives within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Administer and communicate the bank's benefit programs.
• Provide information and guidance to employees regarding benefit enrollments, eligibility, and coverage.
• Interact with third-party administrators to support leaves of absence and ADA requests.
• Process group insurance invoices for monthly billing for all benefit vendors.
• Audit eligibility lists to ensure ongoing accuracy.
• Prepare wires for benefit plan funding.
• Update benefits information on web-based applications in a timely manner.
• Review and maintain data integrity between plan data, payroll systems, and HRIS databases.
• Prepare and maintain current procedures for all benefits-related processes.
• Partner with the CoBank benefits team during renewal and annual open enrollment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or other relevant discipline.
• One or more years of relevant experience, preferably in corporate benefits administration.

Nice-to-haves

• Basic knowledge of benefit plan administration and vendor billing activities.
• Familiarity with state and federal regulations affecting employee benefits.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including vlookups and pivot tables.
• Experience with HRIS systems, such as Ceridian Dayforce.
