Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repair on a variety of biomedical equipment.
• Assure a clean and orderly service area, providing a safe environment for service personnel.
• Meet individual and department productivity goals.
• Be competent with inventory processes and utility technician responsibilities, completing all required training as directed by leader.
• Communicate with vendors and customers in a professional and effective manner to resolve tasks.

Requirements

• 0-1 years of experience. May have vocational qualification.
• Preferred Biomedical Associates Degree, similar healthcare technology management degree, biomedical related military experience, vocational certification, related experience in medical device repair, or experience with biomedical programming/use.
• Prior work experience preferred in biomedical field.
• Ability to lift 50+lbs.

Nice-to-haves

• Demonstrates aptitude to learn the use of biomedical systems (i.e., OneTrack) and various device testing software.
• Strong commitment to the McKesson i2Care and iLead principles.
• Promotes a customer - patient centric culture.
• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft office tools.
