About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Forward Hire Associate Branch Manager (SAFE) for the National Branch Network within the Consumer, Small and Business Banking division. This role is designed to provide a consistent and positive customer and employee experience across multiple branch locations. The Associate Branch Manager will support various branches, transitioning into either an Associate Branch Manager or Branch Manager role based on business needs. The position involves leading and managing teams, enhancing customer engagement, and ensuring operational excellence while adhering to regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines while meeting customer needs.
  • Coach, develop, and build a high-performing team to execute on business strategies and drive growth.
  • Resolve tactical issues regarding customer and employee experience, risk, and business growth.
  • Identify opportunities for making banking easier for customers through education and digital options.
  • Lead the branch while engaging stakeholders and building strong partnerships for a customer-centric experience.
  • Assist with transactions as needed and serve as a role model for exceptional customer experience.
  • Responsible for selection, evaluation, and development of staff.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • 1+ years of leadership experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • 4+ years of Banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience.
  • Experience in coaching, training, and developing a high-performing team.
  • Ability to analyze performance and execute plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Experience in identifying complex financial needs and providing relevant options to customers.
  • Knowledge of banking industry laws and regulations, compliance controls, and risk management.
