About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Forward Hire Associate Branch Manager (SAFE) for the National Branch Network within the Consumer, Small and Business Banking division. This role is designed to provide a consistent and positive customer and employee experience across multiple branch locations. The Associate Branch Manager will support various branches, leading to a transition into either an Associate Branch Manager or Branch Manager role based on business needs. The position involves managing and developing a diverse team, enhancing customer engagement, and ensuring operational excellence while adhering to regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines while meeting customer needs.
  • Coach, develop, and build a high-performing team to execute business strategies and drive growth.
  • Resolve tactical issues regarding customer and employee experience, risk, and business growth.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify banking for customers through education and digital options.
  • Lead the branch while engaging stakeholders and building strong partnerships for a customer-centric experience.
  • Assist with transactions as needed and serve as a role model for exceptional customer experience.
  • Responsible for selection, evaluation, and development of staff.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • 1+ years of leadership experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • 4+ years of Banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience.
  • Experience in coaching, training, and developing high-performing teams.
  • Ability to analyze performance and execute plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Experience in identifying complex financial needs and providing relevant options to customers.
  • Knowledge of banking industry laws and regulations, compliance controls, and risk management.
