About the position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Forward Hire Associate Branch Manager (SAFE) for the National Branch Network within the Consumer, Small and Business Banking division. This role is designed to provide a consistent and positive customer and employee experience across a specific geography, with a focus on leading and managing teams across multiple branch locations. The position offers a clear career path, transitioning into either Associate Branch Manager or Branch Manager based on business needs. The Associate Branch Manager will be responsible for fostering a high-performing team culture, enhancing customer engagement, and ensuring operational excellence while adhering to regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, deadlines, and new surroundings while meeting customer's needs.
  • Coach, develop, and build a high-performing team to execute on business strategies, achieve results, and drive growth of the business.
  • Resolve tactical issues regarding the customer and employee experience, risk, and growth of the business to meet Branch Network business objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for making banking easier for customers through education and demonstration of available digital options.
  • Lead the branch while engaging stakeholders, peers, and internal partners to deliver a customer-centric experience.
  • Assist with transactions as needed and serve as a role model by delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • 1+ years of leadership experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • 4+ years of Banking, financial services, or Branch Network experience.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience.
  • Experience in coaching, training, and developing a high-performing team.
  • Ability to analyze performance and execute a plan that empowers employees to achieve business objectives.
  • Extensive experience in identifying complex financial needs to provide relevant options to customers.
  • Experience building and maintaining effective relationships with customers and internal partners.
