About the position

As an Associate Brand Manager in Creative Marketing at Verizon, you will play a crucial role in the Total Wireless creative strategy team, focusing on national, local, and digital campaigns. Your responsibilities will include coordinating with various teams to develop creative campaigns, understanding consumer insights, and leading the development of advertising plans. You will work closely with creative agencies to deliver impactful content and optimize marketing strategies that resonate with target audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating with Integrated Marketing, Marketing Planning, Digital, Media, Consumer Insights, Legal, and external agency teams to develop creative campaigns and strategies.
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams to gather insights for creative development.
  • Supporting the Total Wireless creative team in developing annual advertising plans and marketing objectives.
  • Developing briefs for creative work in collaboration with marketing strategy and insights teams.
  • Working with creative agencies to deliver content and optimize advertising campaigns.
  • Staying informed about competitive campaigns to guide creative development.
  • Understanding the creative and campaign development process, including strategy and execution.
  • Collaborating with media teams to develop strategic testing for creative and track messaging placements.
  • Supporting Creative Leadership in developing consistent communication programs across various channels.
  • Overseeing the marketing production budget and timing in collaboration with creative leadership.

Requirements

  • Four or more years of relevant experience in marketing or related fields.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing and an MBA or other advanced degree.
  • Experience in agency and campaign development, particularly with retail brands, CPG, or telecom.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in managing and inspiring teams.
  • Self-motivated with a growth mindset and adaptability to change.
  • Understanding of National vs. Local vs. Digital advertising roles.
  • Desire to drive business results and win awards for creative work.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and Google Suite.
  • Experience with A/B testing platforms and focus group research.
