About the position

As an Associate Brand Manager in Creative Marketing at Verizon, you will play a crucial role in the Total Wireless creative strategy team, focusing on national, local, and digital campaigns. Your responsibilities will include coordinating with various teams to develop creative campaigns, understanding consumer insights, and leading the development of advertising plans. You will work closely with creative agencies to deliver content that aligns with brand positioning and strategy, while also optimizing marketing production budgets and ensuring effective communication across multiple channels.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating with Integrated Marketing, Marketing Planning, Digital, Media, Consumer Insights, Legal, and external agency teams to develop creative campaigns and strategies.
  • Partnering with cross-functional teams to gather insights for creative development.
  • Supporting the Total Wireless creative team in developing annual advertising plans and marketing objectives.
  • Developing briefs for creative work in collaboration with marketing strategy and insights teams.
  • Working with creative agencies to deliver content and optimize advertising campaigns.
  • Staying informed about competitive campaigns to inform creative decisions.
  • Understanding the creative development process including strategy, execution, and measurement.
  • Collaborating with media teams to develop strategic testing for creative and track messaging placements.
  • Supporting Creative Leadership in developing communication programs consistent with brand voice.
  • Overseeing and optimizing the marketing production budget and timing.

Requirements

  • Four or more years of relevant experience in marketing or related fields.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or an MBA is preferred.
  • Experience in agency and campaign development, ideally with retail brands, CPG, or telecom.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in managing and inspiring teams.
  • Self-motivated with a growth mindset and adaptability to change.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and Google Suite.
  • Experience with A/B testing platforms and focus group research.
