The Associate, Business Development Support I role at BNY Mellon is designed to assist in the core activities that support the sales lifecycle within the Wealth Management division. This position involves market research, client onboarding, and analytics to enhance business development efforts. The role is hybrid and based in Pittsburgh, PA, focusing on building strong technological expertise to facilitate various administrative and client-related processes.

Responsibilities

• Assists in performing core activities supporting the life cycle of sales.
• Participates in market research to support the development and marketing of sales opportunities.
• Coordinates with internal business units to research and gather information necessary to track current clients and potential targets.
• Engages with CRM systems to track client activities and run sales analysis.
• Creates sales and marketing presentations.
• Supports new clients and ensures all aspects related to client onboarding are completed.
• Tracks individual targets and coordinates with sales officers, relationship managers, and clients.
• Assists with client assessments to determine ownership structure and documentation requirements.
• Supports and facilitates legal/business reviews for potential opportunities and prospects.
• Builds strong technological expertise to facilitate administration, KYC due diligence, marketing, prospecting, and new client onboarding.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in business management or related field is required.
• 0-3 years of total work experience in sales preferred.
• Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business.
